  • Account Information: When you sign up using Google authentication or email, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture (if provided by Google). Authentication is handled securely through our third-party provider, Clerk.
  • Project Data: When you create a website project, we store your prompts, AI-generated code, project names, and associated metadata in our secure database.
  • GitHub Integration Data: If you choose to connect your GitHub account to push generated code, we collect your GitHub username, user ID, and OAuth access tokens necessary to interact with the GitHub API on your behalf.
  • Usage Data: We track your credit usage and subscription status to manage your account and provide the appropriate level of service.
  • Payment Information: When you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by Razorpay, our third-party payment processor. We store transaction references (such as Razorpay payment IDs, order IDs, and subscription IDs) but do not store your full credit/debit card details or banking credentials.
  • Log Data: Our servers may automatically log standard data provided by your web browser, including your IP address, browser type and version, pages visited, time and date of visit, and time spent on pages.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Vebit platform
  • Authenticate your identity and manage your account
  • Process your AI prompts and generate Next.js website code
  • Store your projects, prompts, and generated code securely in our database
  • Facilitate pushing your generated code to GitHub when you choose to do so
  • Process your subscription payments and manage billing through Razorpay
  • Track and manage your usage credits
  • Communicate with you regarding your account, service updates, and support
  • Improve, personalize, and expand the Service
  • Detect and prevent fraud or abuse of the Service

3. Data Storage and Security

Your project data, including prompts and generated code, is stored securely in our PostgreSQL database. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication via Clerk, and secure payment processing via Razorpay.

GitHub OAuth tokens are stored securely and are used solely to facilitate code pushes to your GitHub repositories at your request.

While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

4. Third-Party Services

We integrate with the following third-party services to operate Vebit:

  • Clerk: For user authentication (Google and email sign-in). Clerk's privacy policy governs how they handle your authentication data.
  • Razorpay: For payment processing. Razorpay's privacy policy governs how they handle your payment information.
  • GitHub: For optional code repository integration. GitHub's privacy policy governs how they handle your data on their platform.
  • AI Service Providers: We use AI models to generate code from your prompts. Your prompts are sent to these providers for processing.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information, project data, and generated code for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data, project data, and associated files within a reasonable timeframe, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access and review the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of any inaccurate personal data
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Disconnect your GitHub account from Vebit at any time
  • Cancel your subscription at any time

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and provide a seamless experience. These are essential for the functioning of the authentication system and the Service.
